Is Samsung doing Planned obsolescence?

Post by wokacam »

I remember that in earlier firmwares the 3D colors of my J6400 is better, then they changed for a worst purple-like color.
Then another "error" appear in newest firmwares: The browser stopped to proper read HTTPS sites, and stopped to login in some sites.
but in the past... when the tv has been purchased and is fresh... everything works fine.

Is Samsung causing "errors" in this old TV to force people buy a New?

update should always be avoided to keep the product in its initial state that the company wishes to show in excellent working condition. Updates are made so that the product becomes obsolete over time and the customer changes their TV. marketing question :)
