Step by step is exactly what is already given.
Especially that step is important:
If you don't know what are FTP/Telnet/SSH, ask Google, not us.

There is tutorial in first post. If you have issues following you also probably don't know how to block updates correctly. Meaning you will auto update anyways so this might not be for you :(
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!

Hi, can someone help me install the samygo widget on the TV? I'm stuck at this stage!
