Samsung UA40J6300 not responding?

In service mode I tried switching regions for dtv after restarting the TV there is no response. No smarthub or Menu. Samsung Logo still appears though, but after that, only blank screen.

I also tried pressing an holding the exit button but it didn't reset.

Only the power menu works. When I press it twice it appears, but I can't select sources nor summon the samsung hub. I can turn off the TV through it though.

No no, you can try eeprom reset first.

Good thing it's still under warranty and they changed the board. Now the problem is terrestrial / cable channels have low picture quality and only hissing sound. No audible dialog or wahtsoever.

How do you do an EEPROM reset on a J Series (eg UN32J5500AF) model?

I’m trying to fix one that boots to smart hub logo then remote won’t do anything at all.

let me give you an advice, do not ever touch the service menu.
