Improvement between HU69** and KU60** series?

Is there any improvement between budget HU6900 series (2014) and budget KU6000 (2016) series?
My concern is:
Up-scaling from low-quality SD sat channels?
Sports (can you see a ball when watching soccer / volleyball / tenis games?) - how about TVs frequency?
HDMI and USB source input (is that 1.4, 2.0 or 2.2 HDMI? 4:2:0 or 4:4:4?)?
Is there any single source one can compare models between different production years?
