It is not a joke. Either you are on standby or completelly unplugged from wall. Here is no option in the middle.

TV does not have option to power off without to disconnect it from socket.

There is, at least kind of(f) :)
You have to go into service menu->Option->MRT Option and disable "Instant On" and "Always Instant On Support" (path and availability of options may vary between models, here KS). TV will then enter in *true* standby.

... and you still remain on "Stand by", not on "Complete power off".

Unplug cable from wall or use extension cord cable with on off swith...

Of course I understand what you mean, and that's why I said "kind of", but there's a huge difference between both: In "instant" mode, TV shuts off screen/audio and devices, but system remains fully ON and ready (->root active!), and power consumption is of some watts, whereas options disabled only micom is responsive, and TV really boots up when you power it on (like known standby up to F series), and there consumption is only about 0.01W (which is much closer to "unplugged", even if not strictly the same I agree, but I think it was the sense of question ;) )

Hi,
maybe it's worth to mention that there's also an option
to turn off the led light at stand-by.
