Just to be sure that what I'm doing is correct..
1)unplug from electricity
2)make a short circuit b/w gnd & Sda
3)Switch on the TV( just pass electricity to the tv,don't switch on the tv through remote)
4) wait for 20secs
5) remove circuit and try to enter the service menu from the sequence mentioned (don't try to power on through remote directly)
Is the above one correct?

Wait more than 20 sec. But one of signs of success is no more connectivity error.

Finallyyy!!! After 6 failed attempts , successfully reset the eeprom..
What I followed..
1) unplug the TV from power source
2) short the gnd & Sda
3) Switch on the Power supply
4) after waiting for about 30-40 odd secs
5) info+menu+mute+power
6) got a message on the TV "Please enter into service menu and set the values . Now removed the circuit..
7)Used the IR Service App (S1+S2)
8) Changed the local set, model,BOM etc
9)Click on factory reset
10)TV switches off
11) Switch on the TV
12) Now the TV is successfully reset.

Can't thank juusso and zoelechat enough for your support!!

Also if anyone don't find any success 1st time try till u succeed. Also remove the switch after every attempt.
One thing that I think was done wrong in the previous attempt was that as the space for shorting was very small, the pin kept moving from its original place . So be steady while shorting and try a few times till u succeed!

Good to know. True that the connector is very small, we could imagine an "epprom shorter" made from an old PCI socket for example, but best option remains not to play the sorcerer's apprentice ;)

Ok now after eeprom reset, the TV switches off by itself.. Happened twice in 2 hour now. Eco solution is off as well. What could be the problem? Thanks again!

No idea what`s wrong here. It should`t power off by default. NFI :(

Disable watchdog maybe...
Cooling plate still touching CPU? In case you pulled too much while wondering how to remove it :)

Otherwise as long as you entered correct values TV requested, rest should be ok.
