As stated in title, looking for PVR activation UN75MU6300 in USA model. Apologies as I Know this was discussed in other threads, but I couldn't get a specific solution that works. I bought a service remote, and successfully entered that menu. Under "options", for "Local Set", the 3 choices were US, Canada, or Mexico. SO I chose Mexico (because I Know PVR is unavailable in Canada or US). Then, under MRT menu, for region, the 2 choices were US or Korea. SO obviously, I had to pick Korea. Also set "extended PVR" to on. Having done all this, turned TV off then on, but still no evidence of PVR on any of the regular menus anywhere so not sure if the changes I did ever took affect in any way at all or not. Because everything is exactly as before I did anything.
Forgive the dumb questions, but what am I doing wrongly and how should I proceed? Thanks.

After this change in service menu did you do factory reset tv and reconfigured from scratch?HAMMER77777 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 1:25 am As stated in title, looking for PVR activation UN75MU6300 in USA model. No, I actually didn't. All I did was turn the TV off then on. I didn't realize I had to do that step. How do I do that? Should I do it through the normal menu, or through the service menu? And thanks for your Time.notengo13 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 11:56 amAfter this change in service menu did you do factory reset tv and reconfigured from scratch?HAMMER77777 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 1:25 am As stated in title, looking for PVR activation UN75MU6300 in USA model. It's just advice I don't know if it will work. Factory reset can be done from the service menu.

I did that reset, and now for some reason, LOL, the regular factory remote doesn't work (but the service remote still works). And still no mention of the PVR anywhere. Oh well, I tried LOL!
Re: PVR activation UN75MU6300
what is your factory remote the one which come with TV? if yes then you need to sinconize it with TV. that one only has a IR for turn ON and OFF rest is BluetoothHAMMER77777 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 10:10 pmI did that reset, and now for some reason, LOL, the regular factory remote doesn't work (but the service remote still works). Re: PVR activation UN75MU6300
My friend you are a genius. Yes I was referring to the one that came with the TV. It was always working perfectly, now it just does ON and OFF only. How do I synchronize it to the TV? I was afraid that I messed something up in the service menu, because it was working perfectly before but now it stopped. So what should I do to make it work again? Thank you again, sir.notengo13 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 10:14 pmwhat is your factory remote the one which come with TV? if yes then you need to sinconize it with TV. that one only has a IR for turn ON and OFF rest is BluetoothHAMMER77777 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 10:10 pmI did that reset, and now for some reason, LOL, the regular factory remote doesn't work (but the service remote still works). Edit: Never mind, buddy. I just found out online that I had to press 2 buttons together to make the remote work. It is fine now. I Knew something was strange, because the Universal remote that my cable company gave me was controlling the TV just fine, as was the DVD player's remote. It's only the original TV remote that wasn't working. It seems to be fine now. Still no PVR, but hey, at least we tried. I thank you again, kindly.
