Could I technically run Android on a H5500
Could I technically run Android on a H5500
i know that the hardware in the TV (fairly generic quad-core ARM chip, not much different from entry level Android phones) is technically capable of running Android TV, or atleast an older version of it. I've also seen several people running full on Linux distributions via chroot, so I've been wondering if it's possible to actually replace system files with Linux or something like Android TV or even Tizen. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm just wondering.

when you have root, the you can change everything and you can also ruined your system.
you have a orsayOS. tizen is maybee the same shit but a little bit different.
i have had read somewhere that, you can "port" android apps to tizen, but thats a another thing.
you can technically install nearly all OS.
but, for what?
also i think it is possible to update your tv to the tizenOS,
but
the #samsung_company is weak and lame with updates for there products
and gave us no updates for old TV's!!!
therefore....
