Steam link - widget.license

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for help regarding the Steam Link app (Tizen), which Samsung unfortunately discontinued. It used to work perfectly for me, but now I’m trying to find a way to run it outside the Samsung Smart Hub.

Sadly, I already deleted the app from my TV. I did manage to find another .tmg file online, but it doesn’t include a valid widget.license, and therefore I’m having trouble dealing with the encrypted .spm files.

If anyone still has the app installed on their TV and could share the widget.license or maybe even the unencrypted files, or any related resources, I would greatly appreciate it. Any bit of help would mean a lot!

Hi. I don't have the app uninstalled, I was just waiting for a solution so it could be launched even though it is no longer available in the smart hub. When I try to run it, it offers to uninstall, but I think it is possible to get the .wgt from internal memory somehow and unlink it from smart hub and then install it as a third party app. I don't know how to do that though.

If you know how it can be done, message me on telegram, I may forget to check in here. @rebug001
