for BD-C8200S http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=987&p=9669 so may user edtv1 can help you. maybe some stuff is same on your device too.alexannoyed wrote:I'm in the USA and I discovered this project last week when doing research on a new TV.
I ended up buying a Samsung UN46C7000 TV that was bundled with a Samsung BD-C5900 Blu-Ray Player.
I would love to be able to enable SMB access to my NAS from the Blu-Ray player. It's a ReadyNAS NV+ and I have only ever used it with media streamers and other computers using SMC/CIFS. I enabled the DLNA functionality on the ReadyNAS but would prefer to just use SMB and folder browsing.
I need to look into modifying the TV first to understand more about how all of this works. But with regards to C series Blu-Ray players I'm ready to try and help.
so if you find a way how to start a script on the device (on boot or on hotplug event [if you inser usb] or other method) than it's maybe possible to do what you want.
