yes. sure, good cable and works on mine D series a couple of months already. Who wants to add this info to wiki? :)

I use this ftdi-based USBserial: ebay 280591766614. On this one there is a jumper for 3v3 or 5V logic levels.

Hey even $2.88 USB TTL dongles will work. You don't needed to spend much!
