D-series PVR support (ruSamsungTvCommunicator)

I have used the ruSamsungTvCommunicator "factory" and "3speed" keys to unlock the hidden menus on my PND8000 display (FW T-GAP8AKUC 1018.2). However, the PVR support function is greyed out in the Sub menu, anyone know how to enable it? I was able to get PVR working by changing my region code to KOR (korea) but that messed up some other stuff (cal day/night modes no longer available and service menu activation keys no longer work).
