UE37D6500 - Firmware 1016.0 - unable to start SamyGo App

hi all, i have the UE37D6500 and purchased it with the 1016.0 firmware. when i try to load samygo the screen becomes black and the tv restarts. after disabling watchdog, the tv does not restart, but the screen keeps beeing black and samygo does not start. even after waiting 10minutes. is there anything i did wrong, because 1016.0 is listed as workable in the forum

Sorry, but i dont have one at the moment. My soldering skills are not that high (im just a software engineer...)
As i read, i need to cable from VGA (TV) to Serial Console (PC). As i dont have any Serial Port on my Laptop, can i use a serial to usb adapter on the PCs side?

EDIT: In my basement ive found that cable (see attachment).
Is it enough to connect the end of my old headphones (jack adapter) with the right pins of the rs232 adapter?

Nah, wrong. You just need usb2ttl converter. Check ebay.
