Hi,
I would like to buy a BD-D8200 and change the hard disk, if possible to a 2 TB disk. The question is, does Samsung use disks with standard firmware or any special disk so that an exchange with standard disks is not possible.
Any comment welcome.
Many thanks in advance
Wilfried

Yes , you could change the hdd,but nobody test a 2TB ...so in worst case you should "see" only 1TB partition....but you can create a second partition to use-it as a NAS....
Anyway, you can try...and let us know....Maybe also Samsung want to know what users want...

Re: BD-D8200 Change Hard Drive
After reading a lot of tests and user experiences I have the impression, that controlling this device is a nightmare. So I will wait until some brave volunteers tested the new E series . Hopefully Samsung improved the handling and functionality. May be there will also be a way to upgrade the FW of the D-series to the E-series???
