D5700 --> boot loop

Post by Artur »

Hello,
I have a Samsung E40D5700R and a big problem. I'm reingeangen curiosity in the service menu and adjusted somewhat misplaced. If the TV is now booting up, he turns on a channel and after few seconds it will boot again. On the remote control does not respond. I now have no way to reset the TV or go to the service menu with the remote control.

How can I get the TV back to the run? Is there a way to perform a hard reset?

At the firmware I have not changed, I still guarantee?

If you don't tell to serviceman about the reason of bootloop, yes, it is still under warranty.

Here is possible to do eeprom reset by making short circuit on the eeprom pins. You have to open back pannel and make sure required pins exist. Check our wiki page about eeprom reset.

Or if you're not sure you wanna open TV, bring it to service...
