But how I install it now? I put the unzip file in ubs but the BD says no update it?s found.

I tried again today the dns setting and it says: no update for the moment
The firmware that the BD has install now its B-FIRHT7WWWC 1012.5.
I have B-FIRHT7WWWC 1011.1 saved in a folder on pc, but the BD doesn?t accept it neither via USB or CD.

Will I be doing something wrong in the process?
This is what the TV says when y tray to connect to the server and also it shows the configuration.

And the end says no update for the moment.
Is it because there is no update yet o am I doing things wrong?

Finally did it!!!!
It downgraded successfully to version 1011,1 though it previously said version 1009, the point is that erased version 1012.5 that was infected (f?k cinav?, I killed ya!, go to mute something else somewhere on hell)
Thank you very very much for the help especially to arris69 who gave me the advice to reset first the BD,before apply the DNS method
For now on, no update any more.

Cinv? is back in the firmware, though it says that now the version is 1011 (previously had 1012), cinavi? still showing up. What I don?t get it?s why it says that the version that is down load is 1090 (it should be 1009) one you accept the update (update 1011 for 1090) then said that the version that is install is 1011 instead. It?s driving me crazy this sh?
Why cin.. Keeps showing if version 1011 was relisted on June 2012, that was the version I updated when I bought the Bd back in Sept, supposedly the Bd brought version 1010 or 1009 with in and those version are from May. the first version is 1008 from April.

I do need some answers. I try everything and nothing works. Help me please. Before I squash it on the wall !!

I'have a BD-D5500-zf (euro) with latest f*****g 1030 cinavia infected firmware from 2012/10/19....
I see some of you succeed in downgrading bd-d5500. I've tried via internet with your setting (dns change, cold start after 10minutes, reset, etc). I'm connect to the satellite modem with no router. I leave the Ip, etc, in auto mode and change dns manually to yours. I'm pretty sure the connection works as I get the same answer every time : "there is no software to update so far" or something like that !

Why is that ? Is my firmware (SWU_B-BRCMBSP_001030_I05_ES000KS000RS000DS000BS000_121019) not supported by your update process ?
I see "B-BRCM55RBSP 1015 (success: pending)" on post one : I'm concern ? When will this one be back ?

I have the possibility on my device to upgrade via USB or disk
I have downloaded "B-BRSMBSP.zip 1020.5" (from here http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/conte ... MBSP.zip)I think it's cinavia free but not sure... And my BD doesn't want it !
Is there modification to make on the files ? I'm ignorant in Linux thing or so !
I have also 1010 firmware which works fine with large mkv dts movie (from http://uploading.com/files/f4fe2298/1010.2-1952011.zip). Same result with usb => not drowngradable !

Where can I find working firmware downgrade to download to my USB stick so I can try again.
Also : I dont' known or find the OTN option...not sure if it's on or off.

Is there any way to force overwriting the firmware (silly question, isn't it?)
I've read the whole posts and shearch the firmware links also. Not lucky so far.

this just means that server reported successful install but the user made no response in the forum...

btw. make a factory reset on your device and try again.

ps: there is no way to downgrade via usb...
