skype cam stc1100 or stc2000?

Hi!

My parents have a 40ES6710 model and I want to give them a webcam to use with skype.
What is the recommended camera for you? STC1100 or STC2000? I have not clear which is better

STC2000 is better. It is the one recommended by Skype. However, we know very little about this add-on Camera, so if you do get one, please let us know and perhaps you can help us get some information about it, that will eventually help us open up the possibility to use any camera we want with our TV sets.

About help us, I read this thread few days ago. what kind of information I can provide to you when I have this camera?

1. You could connect the camera to a windows or linux box and post the output from USBView (windows) or the "lsusb" command in linux.
2. If you are brave you could try to open the camera box and take some pictures of the electronics inside. Especially close-ups of the chips.
3. Provide any additional info, like driver files, FCC codes, manuals etc.
4. If you have root access to your TV, you could post the output of "lsmod", "lsusb" and "dmesg", after having connected and activated the camera.

STC1100 just contains a MAXIM MG2580 SoC, an array of mics and some electronics. I opened it up last year.
It's a very good camera (but pricey).
I don't know about STC2000. What I know is that the camera embedded in ES8000 series SUCKS! It's horrible quality.

Oohhh man!! Then I dont know what do I'll do!!!
I contacted to Samsung support and they say that camera compatible to 6710 model is STC2000. But I read that STC1100 is compatible with Series C7000 y C8000 / Serie D6500 and higher
