External Volume Control
These Thin LCD Tv's have poor sound with downward pointed speakers yet Samsung does not offer remote control for external sound supplementation. Does any one know if you could attach wiring to the internal speakers and use that signal to control better external speakers? Pardon my stupidity if this seems absurd to brighter folks but I think it would work and get the job done? Please comment.

You only have 3,5mm Headphone Jack and optical digital audio out for e.g. 5.1 surround sound...
