Just try reconnect display flat ribbon cable. Yes, you must open the TV.
SAMSUNG LE40B750U1WXXH SQ01 T-CHL7DEUC-2004.1 (Telnet, StartUp Script, VideoAR Fix 2, Big Yellow Subtitles, CIFS Mount on Virtual USB); Onkyo HTX-22HD + SKS-11, WDTVL, Maximum T-1300, Optex 8891-HD, DVD-1080P9, Synology USB Station 2 + 2x Samsung S1 Mini 200GB EXT4 (3.8W+0.6W+0.6W=5W idle consumption)

Sadly this doesn?t solve the problem so clearly the LCD is broken. My children told me about them want to clean the screen with cleaner maybe thats the point. But on the other Hand i dont think a 6 year old can make enough presure to breake the screen. therfore is no phisycal damage noticable.
(yes i screwed it open to check that or if any fluids are bridging contacts.)
So well... what does a new LCD cost. *Sigh* paid 1600? for this baby 4 years ago so dont want to throw it away
Regards
