Samsung UA46F7500 restarts after change region
Hi. My TV is Samsung UA46F7500. I entered Service menu and changed region and tuner model. After that Tv is restarting. Appears SMART TV logo, after 3 icons, then black screen and after 10 seconds TV rebooting. I've tried 12-15 sec pressing EXIT agter Left arrow and Enter but nothing. Then i tried reset EEPROM chip S24C51 by shorting pins SDA+SCL, SDA+VCC, SCL+VCC, GND+SDA, GND+SCL. When i short them SMART TV logo appears upside down, icons changes from 3 to 5, black screen and restarts. So i can't reset EEPROM. When i realese pins TV ceep restarting with normal logo and 3 icons again. How can i fix this issue.
Thank you veru much

pin 4+5 OR 5+6 , but be sure you do everything according instruction on wiki.
now i see you do everything wrong. are you trying to burn your mainboard?
1. unplug TV from electricity
2. make short connection and don`t release
3. power to the wall and wait until LCD is on
4. release short circuit
5. power OFF using RC to stand by
6. info-menu-mute-power (or mute 1 8 2 power) and set proper values.

Hi. You're quite right. My wrong is i did not released short circuit in time. I did everything as you advised and TV revived. Just i did not turned off TV because it entered service mode by itself after that i released short circuit.juuso wrote:pin 4+5 OR 5+6 , but be sure you do everything according instruction on wiki.

Re: [solved]Samsung UA46F7500 restarts after change region
Hi I have F7500 I am having the same problem however when holding the wire I hear a clicking sounds after 30sec, 45sec, 60sec, I release the wire then it reboots and continues to do the same thing.
I assumed I am holding wires on the wrong pins when I place on the other side of the eprom the logo is upside down and when it restarts it just does the same thing.
I am unable to go standby mode and I assume that is the reason I cant go to the service menu.
Please help!!! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Re: [solved]Samsung UA46F7500 restarts after change region
Use IR method and send INFO+FACTORY while TV is on and you get directly to service menu. You can try any of available methods ( http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title=H ... SPEED_keys ). Most simple is mobile phone with IR port + SRC app.

Hi I tried using the IR but my time is insufficient before the bootloop. It freezes and reboots or sometimes the screen turns blank then it clicks and reboots. Please help.
Re: Samsung UA46F7500 restarts after change region
Thanks to this post I was able to fix my Samsung UN50NU7090. First I tried VCC+SDA several times without success. GRD+SDA didn't work either. Fortunately, VCC+SCL did the trick for me. Also, the info in the wiki site on how to unbrick the TV by EEPROM reset was extremely helpful.(https://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php/UnBric ... set#EEPROM).juusso wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2014 12:52 pm pin 4+5 OR 5+6 , but be sure you do everything according instruction on wiki.
