Anyone here to give me an answer please?jkarl wrote:Due to a problem with gesture I have to update my firmware on F6470 to 2221.2
Now I want root again but I don't have success.
I will try some procedures shortly but in the beginning:
this is the output from samygo. Everything is green without (see picture here!).

Is that OK?
TIA for your reply!

Thx miazzamiazza wrote:There is no risk at all.le0990 wrote: risk anything?
The new method is indeed more safe and risk free because everything is resident on USB. If you unplug USB than the root is gone.
On the other way, the new method is less reliable in the automatic start (at least on my F8000).
Some time it is necessary to start it manually.
At your place I would use the old rooting method with skype hack that has inside also a USB STOP feature in case of troubles.
There is a way to continue to use skype also with the old method... it is a bit triky but it works...le0990 wrote:Thx miazzamiazza wrote:There is no risk at all.le0990 wrote: risk anything?
