No you did NOT :)

I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

Is this the log you need?
Or do I need to repeat the whole procedure and take a picture of the screen?

Hey,

quick question.
I downgraded back my tv from FW 2740 to 2130.
My tv is still rooted! But can I use LAN now ?
It seems that if i switch to LAN, it's not rooted anymore :/

What about libNetSwitch.so ? is it used to use lan ?

Thanks

  • For now, it's mandatory to use Wi-Fi connection

Ah ok :) I just need to wait for this file then haha :)
I could also re-root with the old FW version root method to get LAN right ?

Yep, don't forget to delete /mtd_rwarea/network/runSamyGO.sh before installing old root :)

Hi,
I have "successfully" rooted my H8000 FW: T-GFPDEUC-1240.3.
But unfortunately, the TV now hangs constantly (no reaction on remote control) ... Watchdogs is disabled!
And also SamyGOPVRDecoder does not work,
So I want the completely root undo ...
Clear runSamyGO.so is not enough, the TV still hangs constantly ... :(
What can I do now?
Is a FW upgrade a solution?

Regards
Bean
