[ROOT] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares

Here are software that related with Samsung F series TVs.

By mistake I format the memory stick pendrive. What now ? To return to Samygo?
I Disable automatic ota update but the Smart Hub update.

Try repeat, Last worked precess!!
Put the files again in your memory stick. .

Smart hub update can destroy sammy go or no problem install smart hub update? (sorry my eanglish im from poland)

I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

Hello,
I have a Samsung F6500 with firmware 2111.1

I have the data copied like the instructions says.
Then I connect the stick on the TV, and install the app from the smarthub and the app says "Reboot the TV".

But after a reboot there is no autostart from the app, and the root also didn't work...

Why?
And what is wrong?

I have tried everything.
i still cannot FTP or telnet.
Zenmap show:

I have look in the settings, but I cannot choose anything.
There is no app!

That's expected there's no autostart app (nor popup then) on MST...

Simply means TV is NOT rooted, you followed MST procedure, right? :)
And what about 1st post requests in case help needed? (screenshot, logs, etc...)

I even wonder if simply relaunching "Install SamyGo" widget shoudn't do the job in your case to recover root if you loose it :)
Lost root again and running the app got my root back. So confirmed to work :)
