Not a big deal, I just wanted confirmation that the EDID restore was successfull.
By the way, is there any consequence by keeping fake EDID after unroot ?

It's one, everytime you use samyGOso is an injection.

If you didn't get at least "Dolby Digital" option available on HDMI (without using libHDMIpassthru), I'm not sure EDIDs were really faked, no idea why though (full logs would have been worth to look at...)
No consequence at all, as long as you don't notice any, but I don't think so

Ok : I misunderstood what you wrote (I thought you said it was normal that no log were generated)

Ok, if you still have it (just in case: libHDMIpassthru log too?). I'm surprised though, even more about:

Dolby passthrough results in outputting the audio of the tuner (in Dolby) instead of the audio of my HDMI source...

Are you sure everything was rightly plugged !!?
Did you retry several times to LOAD? Did you use latest samyGOso (v1.2.5)? Are you aware that logs are in a temp folder and consequently erased on TV reboot?

Unfortunately I did not saved the HDMI passthru log. To respond to your questions :
Yes I downloaded the latest samyGO v1.2.5
I saw that logs were erased after TV reboot, but I checked the log just after sending the command line : I have got a log for the dump, got it for the fake, but no one for the load (that was the reason I asked you if it was normal). As i didn't saw the log at the load the first time I tried several times and also one HDMI port by one => no more luck.
About the Dolby passthrough which is outputting the audio of the tuner : yes I am absolutely certain of the plug. At the first time, the Dolby select was outputting PCM, but when switching from internal tuner (on a dolby channel) to the HDMI source, then the Dolby select was resulting in outputting the audio of the tuner. I was able to also select DTS : this was resulting in outputting DTS from my HDMI source but I suspect that is the same result as DTS Neo 2:5 (so in fact a fake DTS).

Well, if TV outputted DTS when selecting DTS, it was probably true one, not Neo. I think patch worked and the point was just to select the right audio type

Actually I'm pretty sure of the contrary because my HDMI source was sending a Dolby Digital signal ! (it is a STB)
If the TV outputs a signal different from the source it cannot be pass through...

Maybe there is something else than EDID which blocks the source ?
Actually, before rooting I tried to insert an HDMI switch between my STB and my TV (as suggested in "HDMI 5.1 audio passthrough patch" thread first post), but no luck neither (DTS and Dolby option still greyed)...

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung had blocked any EDID faking possibility at some point in firmware development, but it's just a guess, I lack informations...
