It's an UE58H5273 and its on wifi over usb. Any chances to get root?

Possible but it requires ENABLING internal Wi-Fi in EXTENDED service menu. TV must "think" it has internal Wi-Fi

How to get into extended service menu? FACTORY+3SPEED seems not to work.

When you is in service menu send with sensor IR ==> FACTORY+3SPEED

Thanks for your help. Seems that my Samsung IR is broken. I used the android method and got into extended service menu.

To sectroyer:

I enabled internal wifi but the doesn't find any wifi networks. So i can't connect to wifi and the tv stays on lan.

I think with this method i can't get root

Or do you have an other idea?

Pressing enter when it asks to press enter makes sense

Btw, both rooting methods work in my UE48H6270 (my current downgraded fw is T-MST14DEUC ver 2130 with skype rooting for oscam). Thanks guys - good work!

We have already talked about both:
- Disabling OTN Support.
- Blocking updates on router
We even CONFIRMED that NOT blocking updates BLOCKS new-new root
