Re: [App] Removing Cinavia on E/F Bluray players
Superb it works
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

Re: [App] Removing Cinavia on E/F Bluray players
Is there a method yet to apply the Cinavia patch on F Bluray and retain BD disc playing? Right now, my Cinavia Patch works, but I get the Disc read error until I remove the USB and reboot BD player.

Re: [App] Removing Cinavia on E/F Bluray players
G'day,
I'm new to all this stuff. Is there a patch for H Blyray players. I have a BD-H6500?
Dose your play have to be rooted before you can run the patch or this the same thing?
Cheers.

I went to disable otn support but the bluray remote doesn't have a info or mute button as per the instructions. But I did turn off the auto updates in the settings menu and blocked the suggested domains in my router.
Thanks
Re: [App] Removing Cinavia on E/F Bluray players
Disalbing "auto updates" ONLY disables updates when device is ON but NOT when it's OFF. Also did you CHECK if your router blocking works? Did you try running latest H root? What was the result ?

No I haven't run H root. Can you link me to the instructions for this?
Like I said I'm a noob to this stuff this will probably take me a bit to work out.
Thanks
