Help please new member

Hi,
Just got a UE46F6510SB (second hand) I want to be able to root but cant seem to find the right answer over the forum. current firmware is is 2115.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. All I want to do is be able to ftp to an attached usb device so dlna can playback . Ie I download straight to attached usb drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
