Thanks It works well on my E series and surprisingly, USB is not required for this root.zoelechat wrote:https://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=10705

Re: [App] H "Skype refueled" root (FW<=Dec.2014, all T-GFS)
I have a question. Why after crash of TV, this root(your suggested great root) like other E series root will lost(after reboot of TV) and we have to run reset widget on smarthub to return it back (root access to TV). But in H series (Skype based root) there is no situation like this. I mean even after crash of TV, root will still be available after using 'micom reboot' command.zoelechat wrote:https://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=10705
Is there any way to make E series root eternal(forever)!!! So a user not forced to run reset widget after every TV crash?

Thanks. As you may already know. Because of suggestion of SamyGO, I disabled Watchdog in service menu.zoelechat wrote:No, at least no known way
Do you think enabling service menu will helps to prevent memory leakage after longtime running of a widget?
I am searching for a way to reduce time between TV crash(I think it is because of memory usage) in longtime of running a widget.

You still can try to flush caches usingOtherwise no idea, if your widget leaks, make it not leak
Code: Select all
sync; echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches

Hello Friends,
I need help please.
I have a T-GFS with firmware 1330.3.
Since 2 weeks i had skype root. but my tv was broken and samsung change the mainboard and now i have a new mainboard in my tv with the new firmware without root.
Firmware updates are blocked in the router.
When i use this rooting method i get in the last two lines a red No. But i read in this topic that it is not important. It is only a check.
But i dont have root access and cant connect with telnet.
And i cant find root log.
Can somebody help me please?
Thank you

I think you first need to downgrade. Search for a 0000 firmware for your TV
H6400, firmware 2602.2 downgraded to 2130

There is unfortunately no 0000 firmware for T-GFS..
This rooting method should work on all T-GFS or not?
