It's useful if you want to decrypt to see "what's inside?", but any change cause signature/license to be wrong.

Yes i Know That.but my question is if i can auto install the app in another tv with the same model with usb userwidget method (like siptv for example) with these files if i extract them with root?
I'm getting a k serie soon so I was wondering that? Thanks

USB userwidget method never worked on K (and then). I guess definitive answer there :)
Though it might be possible to re-build a user widget using extracted files and install it using Tizen Studio.
But knowing J series still supported "legacy" (pre-Tizen) widgets, it might not even be compatible at all.

I guess it might be allowed under such shape (tmg+license) if by luck the app was approved at some point (used to be on store)?
Basically: don't know.
My question is why won't you install it that way then? :D

Well you see I don't have the tv yet (k) it's on the way, and I have another newer series samsung where I want try the files on.
I just want some portability with my app like ss or siptv have that's all
My other option is laptop and tizen studio ... so yeah

I tried another method with signing wgt on a samsung backend server(usb demo packaging tool)which gave the two files but they are limited with 30 days so the app dissappear after 30 days of installation

Hmmm... There are no spm files for the apps I wanted to decrypt. And the existing tmg file doesn't seem to contain any source code. Just some config, icon and certficates for installing I guess...

When installing it seems some enc_<app_id>_<version>.tmg is downloaded and then installed some way - but not kept I guess.

Perhaps I can re-fetch that with wget or similar and extract and find some source code there?

Anyone knows anything about this?

EDIT: or I don't know where apps are installed.... Didn't really find it in /opt/usr/apps/ at least...
