Well, I'm one of the "unlucky" CI+ owners... So unfortunatly, I cannot compile a new kernel.

But would it be possible to build it as kernel module somehow (I cant seem to configure it in menuconfig) and insert it with insmod? Any tips anyone?

you can compile new kernel if you have proper sources and toolchain. If your firmware is T-CHU7DEUC as you said before, then your TV is CI.
