No it doesn't, i'm expecting a serious answer from someone who can provide as technical answer to the benefits of rooting saying it's cool and you can do lots of stuff and install tweaks and apps like the wiki isn't serious.
Like i said i own a samsung galaxy phone which is rooted because there are great benefits to it (full access to the file system,easy way to backup,speed tweaks,ssh,roms and much more).
What do i get from Tv rooting apart from ftp server and some cool telnet servers? besides as i read the forums i could see the the bootloader isn't accessible because it's being encrypted from newer series etc so i'm not really sure how good is the root on tv and since it's kinda irreversible i want to make before i make the right decision...
