okey, then this probably mean that modules are ok and universal module vermagic patcher does the job well. I was not sure about what project codename kit has. Lucky, it is Fox.P lol.

There is a new firmware available for Evolution Kit. It's v1009.4 and Smart Hub version is 5.274 now. No problems with root access.

The new Netflix app (v4.005) is now available in US Smart Hub, but it does not load. Same problem as on other F series TV's (black screen for one second and then it returns to TV source).

Thanks M1, didnt work though.

After a few uploads and deletes I can see the two apps i wanted to move across.

Netflix and BBC. BCC is working fine, but netflix, just shows a blank screen.

I have heard of this happening with v4. But I thought the UK smart hub was the older working version.

Can anyone PM with their working netflix, or give me some tips.

Thanks so much, so close, yet so far lol

It's strange that you only get black screen. It seems like you have the v4 app. I'm not sure, maybe they have updated the app in UK too? I have no idea how to get the v4 working.

In general, Netflix has two parts, the one in widgets folder is basically just a forwarder. Most of the v3 app is in /mtd_rwcommon/emps/empNRDP32/ so you have to move that too. After you moved it, you have to change the permission of the file called empNRDP32 so it can run.

Code: Select all

chmod +x /mtd_rwcommon/emps/empNRDP32/empNRDP32

Thanks for your help with this M11, ill try it again tomorrow when I get home from work.

Are any other apps like that. I noticed the itv and 5 on demand apps do the same thing?

No idea, i have not tried moving ITV and 5 on demand to another region.
If these apps have also two parts then you should find them in emps folder.
