I think its easier if it works that I can rename the srf to a ts.

I want to watch the recorded files on other devices, yes.
Than it won't be easy for you to move stuff to NAS. Do you ALSO plan to watch recorded stuff on TV or do you want to watch it ONLY on other devices?

Than there is no need to "record directly to samba" just move srf files to samba :) Do it once a day or so :) remember to rename to .ts :)

Ok that was all what I wanted to know.

But I want to record to my server and I can then rename the srf file. Is there an Instruction for Samba or FTP? Because on my TV is a USB Disk named SamyGO Virtual USB. How can I mount a server?

No it does NOT work like this :) If you record to NAS over Samba you can ONLY play files on TV :) If you record on USB disk you can move (in script or something like that) to NAS over SMB or FTP (your choice) and than rename to .ts :).

One you could do is to use "my method" to record directly to NAS (files will be playable ONLY from TV) and then move them from NAS to NAS and rename to .ts (than files will be playable NOT by TV :)). Anyway it depends what you want :)

Creating symlinks could be another idea :)

And how can I mount the server to the Virtual USB Disk? Can I use the generic Windows CIFS?
