I also thought the same thing ... and I've tried calling the file as gasdeuc1090, but nothing to do!I not know how and where to change an old firmware so that it appears a newer (I did not find a 1013!)

We have two files "info" in the firmware folder: the first shows T-GASDEUC 1016.0; the second shows SWU_T-GASDEUC_001016_I04_ES000DS000KS000RS000_111013. If I could be sure that changing something in these files would not compromise the tv ....

I find only a GASDEUC 1016

I have found a 1012. My idea was exactly to change this 2 info-files, but I do not know if this is enough and/or if it will work. For other devices this trick works...just need to know which file and wich line need to edit and the bluff is done and it could work. Or not?
I hope maybe juuso knows, let us wait for his verdict before we brick the tv....

Thanks Juuso or who for you, finally server works and downgrade also. I've already done it.
When my download was about by 99% I've just pressed the ok and after that went to 100% , maybe it was just luck or maybe only creed or juuso put his fingers on it, anyway after that I've successfully installed the 1090 and the Samsung logo cube schining told me "yes we did it" (before with the 1027 it was disabled)
