I also would like to enable PVR (timeshift) on my UE40JU6410, I don't know if this is possible!

So what I've already tried was using the SPEED3 Key and changing the Option in the Menu.
In addtion I've changed the "Startup Language" to see if any of the Settings will stay changed.
The result was that after the Factory Reset the Language was changed but the PVR Option was set back to OFF
Tested on a UE48J6250

Hi, I recently bought a UE40JU6400 KXZT and can't get the PVR function to work. I saw your ID crop up a few times with the same problem and I was wondering if you ever managed to find an answer.
I bought the TV online in Spain, but the only country option in set up is Italy. I've searched lots of forums and tried Samsung direct without getting any help. I can access the hidden menus, but it all seems very complicated - as I guess you know already, there isn't a simple PVR ON / OFF menu option.
I have tried a variety of USB drives and formats- a fast USB3 stick, a 5v 500GB Toshiba drive, and a 250GB mains powered drive. In all cases the TV says 'no USB connected' when I try to use the record function. I have also updated the firmware (twice now) by USB. I can also play media from USB sticks into the TV.
If you have managed to get your PVR working, I would be eternally grateful if you could share the secret with me! Thanks

Yes. Buy UE40JU6500. Why buy no pvr ?
