what I'd love to see is mounting ISO and CIFS
ISO:
to play Bluray media from iso image
CIFS:
to mount Windows shares

any possibility on this ?

I haven`t heard the solution. Even on B or C series this was not implemented.
CIFS:
to mount Windows shares
Yes, this will be possible soon. And not only cifs - SamyGO All Extensions work well (NFS/Samba/ftp/webgui and other),
autostart, keyboard...
Soon...

@juuso: if you don't mind me asking, how soon is soon? Is this stuff real or is it the same than zibri faked some times ago? (don't get me wrong, I'm not at all trying to say anything bad, I'm just wondering...). Are you waiting for a particular moment while it is already ready or are you waiting to complete the loop while there is still some missing bits? If so we'll be glad to help you out (if we can)... ;)

Hi,

I see that you'll release a custom firmware for D series on 11.11.2011
Will that be appliable to all firmware versions ?

Now my TV has 0013 release and frequently it pops up to upgrade (to 0015)
Should I let it upgrade or not ?

Thanks.

Actually I think it will be the best way to implement a custom firmware and do not open the way for the actual hack.
Since it will be harder for samsung to understand what was actually done in the first place.

@mmhorda:

I think you didn't understand my question.
I'm asking if it's safe to upgrade or not. If I upgrade to latest firmware shall I be able to use the custom firmware ?
