ok, sry i actualy prepared myself for a T-GFS rooting and switched ro an mst device then..
so i think:

is the right howto for this device, and i will give it a new try tomorrow..

just one last question bevore i move on:
how do i undo or dismiss a root in case i want to do so?
factory reset is no option as mentioned in the first post..so?

am i allowed to let the tv operate WITHOUT the root stick plugged in?

Even if your TV is rooted, TV's are apart of the DMCA now so your golden. You are allowed to root your TV legally and without voiding anything.

If you need to return it or have service and they mention it: they can easily reflash it at the hardware level. It'll remove all customizations and files from the TV and reload a fresh copy.

Like formatting a computer lol. Then they can work on it. That's what Apple does for jailbroken devices. They restore them in store in their display machines, then take it in.

i follow the instructions in the other thread - copied SamyGo and SamyGo-H to usb, thand copy the img file to samyGo folder..
and startet the app on my television...

as i can read on the log, he is missing some files, and misses skype which i uninstalled bevore?
Aaand i got no diagnostic files on my USB...

Why are you persisting in trying wrong non-working method, unsuitable to your FW version?

He's obviously not reading the instructions.

We're trying to help to man but you need to follow instructions.

I guarantee you if you follow the instructions to the t and check 3 times before moving to the next step: YOU WILL have a few log files on your USB.

AND DO NOT do the Skype method unless you downgrade.

On the skype method, it specifically tells you which firmwares are compatible. If you are above it: Skype root won't work and you need to use the InstallSamyGO-H method. Then you can downgrade, then you can do the skype method right over the ISG-H method.

but how could i know that the files which were attached at the end of the post, which got exactly the same filename are conpletely different packages??
that was the only mistake so far, i feel sorry for not had downloaded these files again to be sure..but i realy try to be carefull not to waste your time! :/ im realy sorry, guys

i now ran the batch file, made a screenshot and now i will try if it works

All log files in my post that I have now linked twice, have the file path and file name. They ARE the same log names since they are generic file names for this project, such as samy.log.

im not sure if i get you right, my mistake was that i had a old: "InstallSamyGO-H" package... no log files, my friend
thought that they are all the same...my fault!

edit: it works!!! i finaly can ssh into the device!! thank you guys for your support!!!
