Yes... i
heard about restricted USA TV models, where copying is more restricted than on EU models. Read my topic
about widget. Might you could use hack widget to load games to TV?
Important - the widget does not support plasma (because here is no Games dir where it tries to copy games to), but i can easily modify it for your needs. Another big question is - is it possible to set TV to use non yahoo widgets? If not - you can`t use this method too.

Congratulations!
How did you do that? Share your experience, please. Did you use widget or anyhow you was able to copy games to TV? Might your info is helpful for other samygo user.
well now i got the samyGO apps to run and now have run into another problem - all my xvids(avi's) have become unsupported file formats?
It depends from firmware only. Do not delete samygo telnet enabler, ffb and other games from TV`s memmory, might you need it once again

To get more codecs i would recommend you to try
samygo DCA (it adds DTS support and might solves your xvid problem), or - my prefered app -
SamyApp. It does the same as DCA does, but has four games inside as module.

How? Did you copy telnet enabler to TV`s memory? I`m asking because other USA model users gave up because of copy error.
then built my new firmware with the samyGO patcher and completed per the usual steps.
Did your TV accept patched firmware initially, i mean version 1018? Or you used FFB to flash older firmware first?
since the TV still will not read the usb drive with SamyGO apps.
What do you mean with this? Does TV not show USB in ContentLibrary?
I also figured out once I enabled some apps it would kill my xvid playback.
Which app? Did you try SamyApp or Samygo DCA? What success with the xvid movies?
Please explain your steps more detail if possible, thank you!
