Hi!
I have an UE40H6400 tv. I've upgraded before to the latest firmware(2602.2). I've tried the info+factory wav, but it seems that only the info button works. I've tried the FACTORY+3SPEED wav as well and the screen turned white and got back to the service menu and I was able to reach more option from MRT options, but I couldn't find local_set, and after powering down I have to use the wav file again, if I want to reach the same functionality. I turned off OTN support(I know it's maybe late for that, but I tried updating the firmware in hope of fixing the problem). There is only one country I can choose, and it's France(I'm in Hungary). Does anyone else have this problem? What can I do? Thanks in advance!

1. Start tv in normal mode
2. push the
info button on remote
3. an after that on your Note3 the
factory button
and
you come in the secret Menu
for set the Localset
Great! Worked on my 55H6700.
I used this app (link to Google Play):
Samsung IR - Universal Remote.
Created a custom button, pasted the code above (for clarity, excluding the first line), and followed djlex's instructions.
After his step 3, my TV turned off and then immediately back on displaying the service menu, with "Local Set" visible and editable.
Thanks a lot!
Please Help me, i have an HU6900, this app on Google Play is no more available, i've downloaded an apk but it's not the same, someone can upload the apk and confirm me that HU series uses different factory and 3speed codes than other series?
When i try to send Factory a pattern test appear and disappear to return to service menu when i press 3speed button.

The other app I linked you doesn't work? It has been well-tried. Anyway, try to send INFO (from original TV remote) then
immediately FACTORY from TV operating state (=not being in service menu but normal "TV watching state"), it should produce the same expected effect as FACTORY+3SPEED from service menu (=unlock extended menu).

zoelechat, i've tried it but it doesn't work for me, the questions are two:
1) The codes for factory are the same for CDEF series and H and HU series?
2) What does the TV do when Factory button is pressed? Is it normal a pattern test on the display which disappear when i press 3speed button.

AFAIK yes.

Yes it's normal, and it means both buttons work

You shoudn't have time to see that "pattern". I guess you have to be MUCH quicker to press both buttons (as fast as possible).
And again prefer INFO+FACTORY from TV ON to INFO+MENU+MUTE+POWER+FACTORY+3SPEED from TV OFF. Result is the same.

I have acquired a new Samsung UE55HU6900. My father in law bought it on ebay and unexpectedly discovered it did not have 3D. We agreed to swap (we had an LG 3D 42"). On initial set up, the only countries offered were Germany, Austria and Switzerland (we live in UK). After reading this helpful forum, I have accessed the extended service menu and have successfully changed the Local set to UK. The channels are now in the correct order (improvement) but there are NO HD channels. Any ideas?

Yes, HD channels in UK are in DVB-T2 whereas it's still DVB-T in most other countries. So you surely don't have hardware DVB-T2 tuner.

Ok thanks but I thought all H series had a DVB-T2 tuner? Is there any way of identifying the country of origin? The model code is UE55HU6900SXZG.

No, it depends on countries, here in France this HU6900 doesn't have built-in DVB-T2 tuner. Btw it's UE55HU6900S (no matter 3 last letters) which seems to be "standard European model". UK model (with DVB-T2 support) should be UE55HU6900U.
