zoelechat wrote:@spiderjukaTo resume, it seems that having both a recording device AND the rooting USB attached helps. Check Telnet then.sectroyer wrote:Shut down TV. Unplug usb with rooting data. Plug one of your Free usb disk. Start TV and once it loads hit RECIt will ask if it can format the disk format and recording something than get back shutdown tv attach SECOND usb (the one with rooting data), start TV
Once Telnet works, check F rooting topic for how-to Samba (see "Features"), it works exactly the same way.
ps: do not use Windows Notepad to create smb_userdata!!! Use Notepad++ and set linefeeds to UNIX format.

Difficult to relate TV unplugging from correct widget install. TV resets itself despite the unplugging from the wall. What do you mean with TV resets few times ... did it reboot alone ?spiderjuka wrote: <...>Thank you.
Happy New Year to Everybody.
No need to reroot, it seems that booting with PVR USB->root is there, reboot without it->root is gone, just replug it and reboot ->root is backmiazza wrote:PVR USB can be disconnected as far as the root is concered but.... try and just in case reroot.
Why do you think it was strange. In first post it is precisely described:spiderjuka wrote: Now it works - but it was really strange - I mean procedure of rooting.
Coudl somebody write good procedure - step by step.
What is also important I think - after instal SamyGO I had to physically disconnect the TV from the power supply - otherwise Samygo was not installed - nothing was happened after instalation.
Only after disconnecting the TV from the power supply and turn it on again TV was reset a few times and then install the samygo correctly.
Did you not read it ?[*]TV will reboot itself or crash (it won't respond to remote control). It is EXPECTED for TV to crash and/or reboot multiple times
[*]If your TV reboots do nothing but if it crashes unplug the power cable. DO NOT UNPLUG USB!!!
@sectroyer: how do I do a full tv reset?sectroyer wrote:Yeah you can use root on demand unplug USB (while TV is OFF) and no rootAlso you can do full TV reset and it brings up Skype
