This root does NOT work on this fw. Also it looks you did NOT disable OTN Support and did NOT block updates on router :)

Hello Samygo community,

I would like to help me for downgrade properly my TV and root it !


First, my TV run with 2781 Firmware and i have rooted it with "Rooting H on latest firmwares".
My TV is connected with WiFi and Ethernet cable.

I want to downgrade to 2130 and use Skype Root (More Stable than Latest WiFi firmware root), and i have many trouble to do it. I have blocked auto-update in system menu of TV and in the Menu "Extended" OTN Support OFF, but i can't block url samsung with my rooter (Livebox Orange FR don't have the capability to do it...). Actually, there is an update 2790, but my TV did not update in this configuration.

If i'm wrong, please guide me to the good way :)
1 - Start TV, wait for enable root.
2 - Delete plugin/script installed -> i have installed SamyGO NoDRM H (MST only). I remove libNoDRM.so & 99_91_pvr_NoDRM.init from my TV with FTP client.
3 - Downgrade my TV with "libFWdowngrade E/F/H"
4 - Normally, i restart with 2130 firmware.
5 - Disconnect Wifi and Ethernet, go to "Extended Menu" and set OFF OTN Support / Also, set OFF Auto-update in Settings Menu of TV.
6 - Reactivate Wifi/LAN and Reboot TV with my actualy usb key root "Rooting H on latest firmwares (WiFi)" and wait for activated.
7 - Remove properly current root with send command "rm /mtd_rwarea/network/runSamyGO.sh" and remove "libFWdowngrade.so"
8 - Shutdown my TV.
9 - Unplug my USB Key root.
10 - Disconnect Wifi and Ethernet.
11 - Power ON the TV.
12 - Reset my Smart Hub.
13 - Reboot TV.
14 - Back to factory settings in Menu of TV (not Extended Menu) - TV will reboot.
15 - Go to "Extended Menu" and set OFF OTN Support / Also, set OFF Auto-update in Settings Menu.
16 - Reconnect only LAN.
17 - Instal Skype and log on with Auto logging on TV Start.
18 - Root the TV with "Rooting H series (updated 25/06/2015)"
... and at this point, i have normaly succefully downgrade et rerooted my TV with Skype Stable root !

IS this good way to do it ? ... or I was wrong in certain point ? Is there a risk of my tv update to 2790 firmware with this method ?

PS : OTA Support must be again to turn OFF in extended Menu, or it's not necessary ?

Of course you have to ALWAYS disable OTN Support ASAP and block updates on router :) Best is to disconnect tv FROM internet UNTIL you are SURE OTN Support is blocked :)

But if i disconnect from Internet, i can't do the root methode ? lol ... Skype not loggin if it don't find valid LAN connexion ?

You don't need root to access service menu and disable OTN :)

Ok, all works fine for the moment and no Crash/Freeze comparated to WiFi Method and fw 2781... I hope it will continue in time ^^ :)
My TV downgraded to 2130, and root skype works fine and it's very fast !!!

Hi. I root succesfully my UE48H6640 T-MST14DUEC-2130.0 with this method.

after few days with root working without problem i try to send to the TV FACTORY + 3SPEED and tv crash I was able to power off only unplugging cable. and from that moment doesn?t work correctly. I try to restore from menu and from service menu also. The last root which I was able to try something was working until I press the power button on the remote then tv crash. all the time with root usb plugged and also without root usb. everything was working untill I presss power OFF.
Could be the problem because of sendig FACTORY + 3PEED to the tv when was ON?

now I already did a few factory reset and soft reset from menu and I am without root. The correct way to remove root is just unplug root usb and soft reset from menu settings + ractory reset from service menu? and start from 0 again or I am missing something.

How can I setup the correct time and date on root usb?
Is possibly to remove this after root?

Hello,
i have h6470 and i made Wlan-Root for 2770 after that i made the downgreade to 2122 and skyperoot.
and I had the following problems:
- oscam startup more than 2 minutes
- sometimes the remote controller freezes.
after that i decided to reset the smart hub and normal factory reset. sky wont to start. :-(

is there a solution to unroot the tv.

btw i dont have this topics at the menu
Menu->System->General->Quickly Power OFF Samsung - this option must be OFF
Menu->System->General->Samsung Instant ON - this option must be OFF

I am stuck with the same problem that I had before. After skypeRoot when is done I can get ftp and telnet acces to TV and oscam work everything work good. Until I want Power OFF tv the tv freeze doesn?t respond for any comand from remote control. I still have ftp and telnet to the tv. so micom-reboot or micom-shutdown can make it from console. but nothing from remote control. what?s happend with this tv where or which log I have to look for or where can I found the answer maybe somebody had the similar problem.
