thanks - you were completely correct. any advice on how to get the tv to correctly interpret 3speed? the samsung tv service remote control app seems to be interpreted as s2 by my tv everytime I send s3 from this app

just use S1 (INFO) + S2 (FACTORY) for Extended Service Menu "Source always has to be selected TV"and for exit press twice S2

downgraded to 000.0
can get into service menu but tv wouldnt recognise the s3 signal to open up extended service menu, so blocked domains on router instead
watchdog turned off in service menu
turned off the general "fast-on" setting (there was no "fast-off" setting)
first usb stick set up as a recording device successfully and left in tv
second usb stick formatted fat32 and used for samygo installation
ran through the above, once I press enter it starts to do the root but seems to stop here

any advice appreciated.

Did you updated your TV back to suitable rootable firmware ? 00000 is only to change to different version

Hi I have 2860 versi?n I will downgrade to 0000 and I want to upgrade for root. Where can i get a firmware valid to download and apply after apply 0000?

Its possible unplug the USB witih TV OFF, plug in my computer ande delete de folder ? After delete Plug again in the TV, correct ? Or I can delete by ssh with rm command ?

Turn off TV. You can doit also with rm but you will need to reboot your tv.
