You are using rt2870sta.ko instead of rt3070sta.ko or rt3370sta.ko.

You might try with T-CHL5DAUC package too.
Also loaded module will be unloaded at restart. It's perfectly normal.
You can automatically load that driver later with patched firmware. Instructions at Wiki...

I don't know why do you get invalid module format error. What dmesg says about it?

I don't understand why. Don't you use ExLink cable to drop TV shell? Or you can also use telnet.
I found that this TV also accepts USB Hubs ;)
