Hello, I am trying this lib on my F8000.
O have enalbled the init and attached a new 160Gb HD single partition NTFS.
When I start recording, the TV asks for formatting the HD that is not what we want

I tried to unplug and hot replug the HD but always with the same behaviour.

Am I doing something wrong ?

Well, seems OK
You should better use startup script from there: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=6566&p=56683#p56683
and at least create yourself a CONTENTS folder on device.

Yea, I used your start-up script and it works.
The nice point is that PVR and timeshift is working also with oscam running.
Of course I can PVR and timeshift only on free channels but it is already a step forward.
PVR stops working only if I try to PVR on a crited channel that I see via oscam... in this case I need reboot.

I have installed this on my ES8000 as well.
This is working but , when the lib is run, I cannot anymore access all the files/movies I have stored in the folder.
May be it is a different path for recording and I cannot anymore access the root of the USB HD.

If I unplug and hot replug, when I have the pop-up I can access all the folders but it is only one shot .... after that I see only the recording path.

Is there any possibility to avoid this ?

Now I have disabled the init and everything is back as before (obviously non one formatted it )

Your device can only be seen as recording OR playback device, not both at the same time, you have to choose (or partition)

Well, I have made a partition but with this lib they are both mounted as recording OR playback device.
The point is that , If a go in the "recent" sections, I can play also what I cannot see in folder; this means they are available together at least for reading.

Now I'm not at home but I will try to play with folders in the HD to see if there is an easy work-around.

Another issue is that if I outorun the PVRtoTS lib immediately after, the TV often crashes; no problem if I do it manually ... may be a timing issue...

That's what I meant with playing with folders ...
The issue is that CONTENTS folder is automatically created by TV set.
