FW version doesn't matter, procedure is the same as long as there's no contraindication.

You are aware of fact that AFTER warranty period updating TV (with or without root) can BRICK IT ?

hallo All

i do have a es5700 and did right now the rooting with the description on the frist site.

I did download and copy the files to the two Ordners.

but the rooting does not work.
On smart hub I can select the SamyGo-F.
until the Point samyext4.img - OK is all fine, and after that I only get red NO's

The last message is: Some activation files not found on '/dtv/usb/sda1'

what did I miss? or make wrong?

Can be several reasons: bad USB, procedure badly followed, as well as big red letters advices/requirements, etc...
