They can be but ONLY if they are ALSO directly shared

I think it's okay. Just one question did you finally format the image as ext4 or as vfat and tv formatted it to ext4 once you did hit rec? IIRC this is how it's done on H. Using ext4 directly doesn't work

Directly ext4
On my f series using vfat directly the tv ask to format. So stats the performance test that fail and there is no format. I tried to replace .PVRPfmChkLog file but with no success... the tv was trying to format the image... But before of this it made the performance test.. no way...
So i used directly a ext4. The tv doesn't ask to format it. It only made the performance test. After the fail on the test i replaced the .PVRPfmChkLog file and it worked.
