For model you mentioned (PS58B680T6P) it should be CI+ version.
But they could change the mainboard during repair from CI model and now your TV isn`t CI+ anymore.
Mainboards are cross-compatible. Definitely they changed it.
Yes, your firmware now is T-CHL7DEUC
Code: Select all
SWU_T-CHL7DEUC_003001_I02_EK000DK000_100421
Kernel is same as for CI device
Here is no hashes on bml0/3, it is identical to CI`s one.
I`m 100% sure, your TV is CI and forget the CIP firmwares.
The alternative firmware on your TV is the T-CHL7DEUC-3000.2,
so if you need to downgrade, use FFB-0.5.9 and T-CHL7DEUC-2005.0.

IMO the CI TV is much better (from point of view of SamyGO).
But if you need some CI+ services, then yes, you couldn`t use that.
If you don`t use CI+ services, then i don`t see any reason to complane.

FFB and [T-xxxxxxx]-u-boot.bin

Hi. Currently I have UEB8000 with T-CHU7DEUC-3001.1
I'm trying to downgrade to last well fw -> T-CHU7DEUC-3000.G with FFB with 0.5.9 as suggested in the FFB thread.
Unfortunatelly I can not post the link here, because a) I'm a new user b) The forum soft is buggy, it says: "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs." , but the FFB thread isnot off-site. hmm
Everithing has run fine and I was able run ffb with /T-CHU7DEUC on the usb storage. But with no success, ffb claimed
in the logs, no u-boot were found. Then I've reread the thread carefully and found this text
Files [T-xxxxxxx]-u-boot.bin, [T-xxxxxxx]-fnw.bin, [T-xxxxxxx]-Image (where xxxxxxxx is firmware version) needed to be placed in the same directory as exe.img.enc, appdata.img.enc and other firmware files (inside /image/ directory). (extract from archive as is e.g. [T-CHL7DEUC]-u-boot.bin , do not rename!). You can`t downgrade firmware without those images using FFB.
OK, this is I think the problem, but which archive is meant here? Where to get these three parts?
Could someone suggest, where to get these three images?
Thanks,
Lado

Thanks.
The rapdishare link with title 'u-boot.bin, fnw.bin, Image for UExxB7xxx, UExxB8xxx' from the site of your signature (Repair TV from u-boot) does not work unfortunately

Yes, sure you need hash files.
