I am of the firm conviction that I have installed this firmware already since several months on the television and which has functioned rooting before it with exactly this firmware.
That was good moment to DOWNgrade :) ALWAYS DOWNgrade NEVER upgrade :P

Yeah possible :)

At the time where the root has still functioned, was necessary no DOWNgrade.
When of the root does not function then all at once with version 1120. 0 of the root any more, no DOWNgrade was more possible. This goes only with root.
I had the same problem like now. Root did not go any more, nobody could help me. I had to lose nothing and have tried it with the upgrade.
IIt is adapted of the Root regularly, so that also new firmware is supported? Does help the root for the H series?

I have read the post from lucas80. That was the reason I try to update the firmware.
That's why I believe also furthermore that the problem cannot be caused by the firmware.
I suppose furthermore the problem is to be searched to another place and must be solvable.

Hello,

I am new here and I have spent some dollar to get into the donor group :) First of all thanks for the fast adding into the donor group :D

I've tried to root my Samsung UE46F6500SSXZG; Firmware version: 2111

But the samygo autostart widget will run into a loop and I do not know why? :S
I've used the NON-MST method to get the root done.

Is it possible that i have a MST TV? Where can I check the different between NON-MST and MST? Is there any post in the Forum which will document where are the differents between MST and NON-MST? I was'n able to findy any. :S

Well, you must have missed the 2nd line of 1st post:
If firmware name contains MST, it's MST (eg. T-MST12DEUC_1120.0, mostly F5xxx/F6xxx models), else it's not.
I let you guess which one is yours, random is never a good advisor :)

There are several places where you can find full fw name: in TV menu, in Service menu, on Samsung website, etc...
Whichever one you prefer, you'll understand you're using wrong method :)

Hi,

I've tried to root my TV using the MST method. But it was not successful :(

Steps I've made:

- First of all I've used the wrong method and the TV was in "samygo widget loop"
- changed settings to no autostart and deinstall the samygo widget
- Start using the right method with MST
- no success ...
- used the data.zip with the 120 sleep loop ... no success ...
- used the attached run.sh ... no success ... :(

I've checkt the root with connecting via putty with telnet but i was not able to get a connection to my TV. Any ideas how i can proceed?

Note: Also no sam.log was created by the script.
