Hi, I tried to root my ue40f6470 using the mst method but I can't get it to work.
First of all the widget-log:
After I rebooted the tv samygo isn't starting and I can't access ftp/telnet etc.
Also tried all the possible solutions of the first post.

Trying to get the root running with the tipp from robert90 but it isn't running yet...

I have now tested more closely and can now say that the root is not working because of other USB sticks, but due to the alternative run.sh from the 1st post. Link to archive: download/file.php?id=4938

Yeah, it seems some of the data isn't really written correctly.
EDIT: So just use the normal .sh? Or other usb-sticks?
EDIT2: finally, I also just used another stick. The first stick I used was a 4GB stick formatted with FAT, the second was a 32GB stick formatted with FAT32. I was also using the alternate .sh

If still no root, replace run.sh in USB SamyGO_data folder by the one from this archive, restart TV, wait a while and paste here sam.log you might find in SamyGO_data.

Now ncat will report this: "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. ."

Do you know this problem?

Do you got all messages from NO to OK with this method?

I still got the same log from above, though I haven't checked back on the widget setup yet wether it shows something different now or not.
