I will try tonight to include my .hotplug script in the widgets zip file and use the widget to copy this from the location it downloads its file to the /etc/hotplug.d/usb folder.

if this works I can work on a widget that also includes compiled universal wifi drivers and do an insmod when plugging in the wifi stick.

somenone knows how to make a widget persistant on reboot ? if I reboot the internet @tv says it needs to be updated and removes the hack widget.

keep you informed.

p.s. amyone already have compiled wifi drivers for the bd-c5500 (original from ralink)

what about to add <type>user</type> to config.xml of widget?

neither the <type>user</type> and the copy from the /mtd_down widget folder worked out

have to think it over and maybe just open it and add serial :twisted:

any other ideas?
